Willow, the White House cat, joins Joe Biden & his wife in celebrating 45 years of marriage

On Friday, June 17, US President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Tracy Jacobs Biden, left the White House for their beach house in Delaware to celebrate their 45^th wedding anniversary.

A special guest of honour for the celebration, White House cat Willow, accompanied the couple as they enjoyed a good flight on Marine One.

Willow was adopted by the Bidens to live with them at the White House.

Mr Biden is noted for cherishing the anniversaries of his marriage. On June 17, 2019, he wrote on Facebook: “Happy anniversary to the love of my life and the life of my love. I’m forever grateful you agreed to spend the rest of your life with me. I love you, Jilly!”
