A UK-based Ghanaian nurse, Monica Birago, has said that even if she sells all that she has acquired in life as a thanksgiving offering to God, she believes it will not be enough to express her gratitude for the mercies shown her.
She said that she counts every single day and the daily progress she continues to chalk up as God’s inspired successes.
“We often take for granted our going-in and our coming-out and especially the good health we enjoy till a misfortune happens in our lives. Today being August 12, I deem every little blessing on my way as valuable as the gold miner deems his concession,” she said.
Ms Birago said she was grateful to all her well-wishers who have sent her tons of goodwill messages.
“I also thank all my loved ones, especially those in Ghana and the UK, for making my day a memorial one. God bless you all.”
Monica Birago moved to the United Kingdom last year after serving with the Ghana Health Service for eight years.
