Thousands of messages poured in on Saturday, July 16, for British politician Sajid Javid and his wife, Laura King, on their silver wedding anniversary.
Mr Javid wrote to his wife: “Love of my life. #SilverWeddingAnniversary.” The tweet got tons of comments, with many congratulating and wishing the couple the best in the years ahead of them.
ME Central, a Twitter user, said “congratulations! Onwards towards gold and more” and Susan Hall AM said, “Congratulations, lovely picture.”
Marcia, another Twitter user, said: “You are blessed. Many congratulations.”
Sajid Javid, from June 2021 to July 2022, served as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. He had previously, from 2018 to 2019, served as the Home Secretary. From 2019 to 2020, he was the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Mr Javid has been a member of the Conservative Party and a Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove since 2010. Laura King, on the other hand, is a businesswoman and social activist.
