China-based Ghanaian celebrates birthday today, photojournalist sends in wishes

A Ghanaian making strides in academia in China, Dr Isaac Asare, has received the best of wishes on his birthday today, May 13, from his friend, Benjamin Tenkorang.

Mr Tenkorang, an Accra-based photojournalist, told AwodaPa how much he cherishes the friendship between the two.

“Your birthday is so special to me because that is the day I received the most wonderful gift: you! A brother is a friend given to us by nature. You are the true definition of that.”

Benjamin Tenkorang said words alone cannot explain the love he has for Isaac Asare and that he looked forward to the day the China-based Ghanaian would come back home for vacation so they could dine and wine together.

“Words will never suffice to describe the special bond that we have, bro[ther]. I can only hope that my actions will serve to demonstrate my love for you.  Your daughter says, ‘May God bless you with long life and have an abundance of wealth in good health.’”
