Renowned Ghanaian female gospel artiste and fashion designer, Mama Esther has marked her 56th birthday today, Monday, February 21, 2022.
Born Esther Boakye, in real life, she is widely known in the gospel music industry as Mama Esther. Her songs do not only exalt God but give encouragement to her teeming admirers. In a short Facebook post, today, Mama Esther acknowledged God’s blessings in her life, indicating she is where she is today because of Him.
“If the Lord had not been by my side… This is what 56 years of God’s goodness looks like. Help me thank God for His amazing grace,” she wrote.
Mama Esther, a native of Ankase, a suburb of Mampong in the Ashanti region, had her basic education at the Tafo L/A Primary. She would later further her education at the Sepase Middle School also in the Ashanti Region.
The famed gospel musician is a mother of four children and a living testimony to God’s wonders. She has testified time without number that she once suffered barrenness and that God came her way when tears drenched her happiness.
Mama Esther has a basketful of songs to her credit including “W’ayɛ Lucky,” “Yɛ Kom,” “Me Judge Akasa” and “Mene Yehowa” among others.
