A couple based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, has wowed the world in celebrating eighty-one years in marriage.
According to the BBC, Ron and Joyce Bond, aged 102 and 100 respectively, are believed to be the longest married partners in the UK.
Jubilant daughter of Ron and Joyce, Eileen said many were those who did not believe the couple’s marriage would see the test of time. “It was said of them at the time of their wedding [January 4, 1941] it would not last long. How wrong did folks get that?” Eileen questioned.
